Using Craveheads

These terms govern your use of Craveheads. Use the service lawfully and follow the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The Privacy Policy explains our information practices. These pages provide service terms and information, not individual legal advice.

Your account

Provide accurate account information, protect your password and authentication codes, and use only an account you are authorized to access. You are responsible for your activity and the content you submit. Contact [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised. Do not impersonate someone else, share another person’s credentials, or attempt to bypass a restriction.

Your reviews, profile and photos

You retain the rights you have in your submitted reviews, profile information and photos. Submit only content you own or have permission to share. Reviews must reflect authentic experiences; distinguish your opinions from factual claims and disclose material relationships that could affect a review.

You give Craveheads a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, resize and display your submitted content, and to let our service providers do so on our behalf, only as needed to operate, deliver and moderate the service. This is not a transfer of ownership or permission to sell your content for unrelated uses. The license lasts while the content is provided through the service, with limited continued handling needed for deletion, backups, operational recovery or legally required preservation as described in the Privacy Policy.

Other users may see and download content you share. Do not submit sensitive personal information about yourself or others that you do not intend to share. Third-party restaurant information and Google content remain subject to their owners’ rights and applicable attribution and terms.

Prohibited conduct

Do not submit false, abusive, illegal, threatening, exploitative or infringing content. Do not harass people, impersonate others, expose private information without permission, promote violence or hatred, sexually exploit anyone, or upload sexual material involving minors. Do not use spam, fabricated experiences, coordinated manipulation, malicious software or unauthorized access to interfere with the service or its rankings. Do not evade moderation, misuse reporting, or infringe another person’s intellectual property or privacy rights.

Reports and enforcement

You may report content or accounts and block users through the app. We may review reports, hold visibility, remove content, restore content, or resolve a report without changing visibility. Reporting does not guarantee a particular outcome, and we do not promise that all content is reviewed before it appears.

Enforcement options include warnings, 30-day suspensions, 90-day suspensions, content removal and permanent account termination/deletion. Repeat violations may lead to a warning, a 30-day suspension, a 90-day suspension and account deletion. This is not an automatic strike system or a promise of that sequence. Craveheads may skip steps when severity, safety or law requires it. Severe illegal or harmful content may be removed immediately.

Suspension restricts participation; it does not necessarily remove existing content. Separate content restrictions may still apply after a suspension ends. Permanent account deletion is distinct from a reversible visibility hold.

Deletion and appeals

You can request permanent account deletion in Settings or contact support if you cannot access your account. Accepted account deletion is permanent; do not rely on being able to recover an account or its content. Background cleanup and backup limitations are explained in the Privacy Policy. Shared Places and other people’s content are not deleted merely because you delete your account.

To appeal a moderation action, email [email protected] with your username, the approximate date, the notice or content involved, and why you believe the action should be reconsidered. Do not send passwords or authentication codes. An appeal does not automatically lift a restriction and cannot guarantee restoration of permanently deleted content.

Availability and information

We work to provide a useful service, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, failures, safety measures or changes. Reviews are user opinions; restaurant details and third-party results may be incomplete or out of date. Verify opening hours, prices, ingredients and allergy or dietary needs directly with the restaurant. Craveheads does not guarantee a restaurant’s quality, safety or suitability.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. We may update the service and these terms; the effective date identifies the version on this page.
